About Engaged Super

Engaged Super was established in 2020 to provide SMSF Audit services to accountants and financial advisers. Our founder, Luke Stevenson, noticed that many of industry professionals wanted to use an independent audit solution when it came to the audit of their SMSF clients.

Having 15 years of experience in the SMSF audit field, Luke set about creating an audit business that wanted to make a difference to the end client, the trustee. Engaged Super does this by having a close relationship with firms they provide SMSF audit services to by providing an efficient and high quality audit for businesses in Brisbane and all across Australia.

Engagement

For the relationship to be a successful one, we ensure key terms of the arrangement are agreed and the expectations of both parties are clearly communicated. Once engaged we will work with your team to understand your processes with the goal of achieving an efficient audit process.

Audit Information

You are provided with access to a shared Sharepoint site to upload your files. In our experience, for the best results we encourage providing all relevant information at the commencement of each audit. To assist in achieving best results we provide you with a comprehensive checklist, by providing the documents on the checklist we can perform the audit in the most efficient way possible.

Audit Performed

We utilise industry leading audit software, Myworkpapers. Our audits are performed in accordance with the professional obligations of approved SMSF auditors under the relevant governing legislation and guidance. Our commitment to our clients is that within 5-10 working days after the receipt of the audit information, we will either issue your completed audit report or have raised queries by email to you.

Audit Finalised

Should we become aware of any possible issues we will outline our findings to you, including whether we believe an Auditor Contravention Report (ACR) is necessary. Where an ACR is required, we work with you to ensure the issues are rectified, or a plan is in place to rectify the issues, before the ACR is lodged. A management letter will be provided to explain any qualifications to our audit opinion and the reasons why an ACR may have been lodged.
